What we built
Trovekit (trovekit.shop) is a zero-inventory autonomous catalog. It scans for trends, generates AI products on demand (digital + on-demand physical), publishes to multiple sales channels with platform-native envelopes, and runs through a 12-gate anti-ban policy engine so accounts don't get nuked.
The shape of what we shipped
The Trovekit pipeline:
1. Trend scan. Daily job pulls trending product searches from a handful of sources (Etsy trending, TikTok shop, Google Trends, Reddit /r/somethingiwanttobuy). 2. AI product generation. For each viable trend, generate a product concept + listing copy + on-demand-print artwork via image API. 3. Channel publish. Each product gets reshaped into platform-native envelopes — Etsy listing format, TikTok Shop format, Shopify format. Same product, different surface per channel. 4. 12-gate anti-ban policy engine. Before any listing publishes, it runs through 12 gates: trademark check, banned-content check, channel quota, image safety, etc. 5. Per-channel envelopes. Etsy hates promotional language; TikTok wants the hook in the first 3 seconds. Each channel gets its own framing of the same product.
Why the anti-ban engine is the whole game
Anyone can spin up an AI product. The hard part is staying alive on Etsy/TikTok/Shopify when half the platform's takedowns are AI-listed products. The 12-gate cascade is what keeps Trovekit's accounts in good standing.
The honest result
Trovekit is in active build (per the operator's mandate as of 2026-05-20). The engine works; whether any individual product line sells well is a market question, not an engineering one. The lesson here is the technique — how you publish AI products without getting your accounts banned.
What the next lessons cover
- Lesson 2: the per-channel envelope framework — what each platform wants, what each platform punishes.
- Lesson 3: the 12-gate anti-ban policy engine in code — the exact gates that keep Trovekit publishing.
The real artifacts referenced above. Each entry is a production pattern in one of the 5 sister products.
